Getting Started

From sign-up to your first simulation, script, or model inspection, in a few steps.

1. Create your account

Go to qose.qontra.uk and sign up with an email and password. There's no credit card step. Your account is free from the moment it's created, and you can explore every app right away.

Path A — Simulating a mission

2. Set up your first satellite

You can start from either direction:

  • Import a real satellite using its TLE (Two-Line Element) data for accurate SGP4/SDP4 tracking.
  • Design a synthetic constellation by setting classical orbital elements yourself — altitude, inclination, eccentricity, and the rest.

3. Run the propagation

Once a satellite is defined, QOSE propagates its position forward using SGP4/SDP4. You'll see the orbit path update and the 2D ground track trace across the map in real time.

4. Add a ground station

Place a ground station anywhere on the map to get pass predictions: when the satellite is in view, how long the window lasts, and Doppler shift across the pass.

5. Check conjunction risk

If you're modeling multiple objects, QOSE estimates collision probability between them using established probability-of-collision bounds, so close approaches don't go unnoticed.

Path B — Building or inspecting

2. Open QOSE Lab or CAD Inspector

Both live under the BUILD menu once you're signed in:

  • QOSE Lab — a code workspace. Create a Python or JavaScript file and run it directly, no local setup needed.
  • CAD Inspector — load a 3D model (STL, OBJ, PLY, glTF, GLB, or 3MF) and start measuring, sectioning, or comparing it right away.

Neither tool touches your simulation missions. They keep their own storage, so you can move between simulating and building without one affecting the other.

Bring your team in

Open QOSE Bridge to talk with other engineers, or start a QOSE Relay session to let someone watch your work live, approving each request yourself.
