Quick answers on the free tier, licensing, accounts, and technical questions.
Engineers and researchers across the aerospace workflow: satellite constellation designers, CubeSat teams, universities, hardware engineers inspecting 3D models, anyone writing analysis or automation scripts, and organizations evaluating orbital scenarios. Students and strategic partners alike.
Reborn is the standard environment for constellation design and mission planning. Brutal Mode runs the same real orbital mechanics with a denser debris field and tighter conjunction pressure. It's built for stress-testing whether a constellation actually survives, rather than just checking the geometry works on paper.
A code workspace inside QOSE, under the BUILD menu. Write, run, and version Python and JavaScript with real syntax highlighting and built-in viewers for your output. It's separate from your simulation missions, so it works just as well for general engineering scripting as it does for orbital analysis.
A 3D model inspection tool inside QOSE, also under BUILD. Load an STL, OBJ, PLY, glTF, GLB, or 3MF file. Measure it, section it, explode it, or compare it, then export a screenshot, STL, or PDF report.
A space inside QOSE for connecting with other engineers, available to anyone signed in. Bridge covers open global conversation, private chats, and groups, so you can move from public discussion into a focused conversation with the right people.
Relay lets you watch a mission live as it happens. The host generates a shareable link and sends it to whoever they want to invite. Each person needs the host's approval before they can see anything live, so access stays host-controlled.
Yes. Every new account is free, no card required. A paid license unlocks QOSE's full advanced toolset when you're ready for it. Upgrade any time at portal.qose.qontra.uk.
Team and Organization licenses are built for multiple users. Contact sales@qontra.uk to set that up rather than sharing a single login, so everyone keeps their own account and access history.
Sign up with an email and password and you're on the free tier immediately. No credit card, no time limit. It's there for as long as you want it.
QOSE's full advanced toolset, on top of everything the free tier already gives you. Contact sales@qontra.uk or upgrade at portal.qose.qontra.uk to talk through what fits your work.
Individual, Team, Organization, Academic, and Partner, on top of the free tier every account starts with. Which one you need depends on your scale of use. Pricing isn't published for any tier; contact sales@qontra.uk with your use case and we'll work out a fair number.
Your license has lapsed, but you still have access while you sort out renewal. Nothing is interrupted yet. If it lapses further, the account moves to Expired, which drops you back to the free tier until you renew.
Yes. Contact sales@qontra.uk to move between Individual, Team, Organization, Academic, or Partner as your needs change.
No one at Qontra can see or recover your original password. By design, we only ever store a one-way encrypted version. Use the "Forgot password?" link on the login screen to set a new one via a reset email.
Check your spam folder first. If it's still missing, contact contact@qontra.uk and we'll verify your account manually.
Yes. QOSE runs in any modern mobile or desktop browser. There's no app to install.
No. Once you're signed in, QOSE keeps you logged in on that device for an extended period, even if you close the tab or browser. You'll only need to sign in again after a long stretch of not using it.
No. QOSE automatically saves your mission to that browser as you work. Reopen QOSE on the same device, log back into the same account, and your fleet will still be there.
No. It's local to that one browser only, as a convenience rather than a backup. Clear your browser data or switch devices and it won't follow you. For real backup, or to move between devices, use Cloud Sync to your own storage bucket, or export your mission as a file.
Simulation is one part of it. QOSE also includes a code workspace (Lab), a 3D model inspection tool (CAD Inspector), and team communication tools (Bridge and Relay), all under the same account. See the Platform page for the full picture.
Real SGP4/SDP4 satellite propagation, the same standard used industry-wide. Ground station pass prediction with Doppler estimates. Collision probability bounds, classical orbital elements, 2D ground track visualization, and live space-weather and debris-tracking data feeds.
Yes. QOSE accepts real TLE (Two-Line Element) data for true SGP4-tracked satellites, alongside its synthetic constellation-modeling tools.
Yes. Missions can be saved locally or synced to your own cloud storage, any bucket you control, and reloaded anytime.
Yes. Your satellites, missions, and account data are isolated to your account. Qontra does not access customer simulation data except as needed for support you request.
Yes. QOSE keeps a full real-world object catalog and a large fleet of your own satellites running in real time, not just a handful of test objects.
