A reference for every tool inside QOSE.

Satellite propagation

QOSE uses SGP4/SDP4, the standard model used across the satellite industry, to propagate orbits forward in time. You can drive propagation from real TLE data or from orbital elements you define yourself. Synthetic and real satellites can be simulated side by side.

Classical orbital elements

Every orbit in QOSE is described by the six classical elements: semi-major axis, eccentricity, inclination, right ascension of the ascending node, argument of perigee, and true anomaly. The elements panel lets you inspect and adjust these directly, with the orbit updating live as values change.

Ground station pass prediction

Add one or more ground stations to any simulation to compute access windows against your satellites: rise time, set time, maximum elevation, and Doppler shift across the pass.

Collision probability

For scenarios with multiple objects, QOSE estimates probability of collision between close-approaching objects, giving you a bounded risk figure rather than a simple distance check.

2D ground track

The ground track view plots a satellite's sub-point across a world map over time, orbit after orbit, so you can see coverage patterns and revisit behavior at a glance.

Live space-weather and debris data

QOSE pulls in current space-weather conditions and tracked debris data, so simulations reflect the actual state of the environment rather than a static snapshot.

Saving and syncing missions

Missions can be saved locally or synced to cloud storage you control, and reloaded at any time. Your simulation data stays isolated to your account. Qontra does not access it except as needed for support you request.

Importing TLE data

QOSE accepts standard Two-Line Element sets for real satellites, which can be combined with synthetic constellation-modeling tools in the same simulation.

QOSE Lab

A code workspace inside QOSE, under the BUILD menu, for writing, running, and versioning Python and JavaScript. Includes real syntax highlighting, non-blocking error markers, version history, and built-in viewers for HTML, JSON, CSV, Markdown, and images. Lab keeps its own storage, separate from your simulation missions, and supports bring-your-own cloud sync.

QOSE CAD Inspector

A 3D model inspection tool inside QOSE, also under BUILD. Load STL, OBJ, PLY, glTF, GLB, or 3MF files and use measurement, clipping, exploded view, wall-thickness estimation, and compare mode. Export a screenshot, an STL, or a full PDF report of your findings.

QOSE Bridge

A communication layer available to anyone signed into QOSE. Bridge includes open global channels, private one-to-one direct messages, and invite-only groups. Set a profile with a name, organization, bio, and avatar so people know who they're talking to.

QOSE Relay

Share a live view of a running mission with someone else. As the host, you generate a shareable link and approve or decline each person who requests access. Nothing is visible to anyone until you approve them. An observer sees your camera view, active panels, and simulation time mirrored in real time, read-only.
